Center of the Makers Movement

Portland Oregon is known for it’s strong food scene, a hipster culture spoofed on Portlandia and as being the city with the most craft breweries in the world, but the Rose City is also the center of the makers movement in the United States. The city is filled with artists and artisans, making it a terrific shoppers town for those who appreciate local souvenirs from their travels.

I recently explored the maker’s culture in Portland and shared this undiscovered part of the city’s culture and vibe on Good Morning Arizona.
